Predestination is a mind bending sci fi thriller that completely redefines the concept of time travel movies. The story follows a highly skilled temporal agent who works for a secret organization that prevents massive crimes before they ever happen. For his very last assignment, he goes back to the seventies to track down an incredibly elusive terrorist known only as the Fizzle Bomber. While working undercover as a bartender, he strikes up a very deep and completely fascinating conversation with a mysterious customer who has an absolutely unbelievable life story.

As the stranger slowly reveals his dark and highly complex past, you quickly realize that this is not just a simple game of cat and mouse. The movie does an amazing job of weaving different timelines together in a way that is deeply atmospheric and totally gripping. Every single detail and seemingly random line of dialogue is a crucial puzzle piece that slowly builds up to an incredibly satisfying mystery.
